Photohunt ~ Dark

front yard flowers, originally uploaded by tommiea1.

This afternoon I had to step outside and take a few pictures. I saw my little cart and knew I would shoot a few shots. When we initially looked at this house in late June, I almost considered writing it into the contract. Heck, I had to leave my pot rack! I really need to let the anger over the pot rack go!
Anyhow.......I loved this DARK little cart. I imagined it overflowing with wild flowers, little trails of ivy hanging over the side. Well, the only thing it has in it now are the flowers that I want to hang from my porch. I didn't even take them out of the little white plastic pots they are in. But we have been just a wee bit busy getting unpacked!
Happy hunting, y'all.
Next week: colorful

You may not hear the sound of the ocean in those shells, but I'd be willing to bet that you can still hear the sound of the song your daughter sang.

Hi Tommie..You posted on my blog about the feeding the ducklings. We used to love to go to the river and throw bread in for the ducklings. I never knew there could be a problem with this until we moved here. Geese and ducks love bread, but it isn't good for them and they will eat bread to the exclusion of what they should eat.

The game starter I was using was for the first week due to the recent lawn spraying of most of the lawns on the pond making the availability of insects much lower and the lateness of the brood.

Much as I love the ducks and I do, I don't usually supplement their natural foods.

This is a good short article on ducks on geese and foods. Thank you for loving ducks.!--Michelle--
