3. what i read this month: started reading "Summer of the Monkey's" to the kids

4. top three songs i was drawn to: Justin Beiber "eenie meanie" Glee Cast version "Jessie's girl" and pretty much any other Glee song!

5. movies i saw: i can't remember if it was this month, but the kids and i went to see "How to Train your Dragon"

6. favorite tv moments of the month: Glee.....Sue Sylvester singing Vogue

7. something yummy i made this month: anything to use up pantry stuff: chocolate chip cookies, banana pudding, lemon ricotta muffins,

8. some place i ate out: Kansai for mother's day...Will took me and Livi on a date

9. something that made me cry: off hand, i can't remember.

10. something that made me laugh: yesterday Will fell while riding his scooter (that's not the funny part) but he wanted a "cast" since he is "injuried". LOVE the Will-words

11. this month i looked forward to: finding out where we are moving to

12. something i want to remember about this month: fun field trip to Kentucky Down Under

13. a photo i took this month: act like that cave pic is right here. I couldn't get it to move down here. That is 125 feet under ground. I was seriously trying not to panic!

August Snapshot 2009

Interrupting the ABC Thursday 13, for a monthly snapshot.

1) photo of me: oohhmmmm, I couldn't find one.

2) current candle scents: still burning Tonka Bean...dang, how many of those did I buy?

3) what i am currently reading: rereading the second Twilight book.

4) newest music i added to my playlist: "Alright" by Darius Rucker (yes, the guy from Hootie and the Blowfish). I don't usually like listen to too much country, but I really liked this one.

5) movies i saw: does the Lifetime channel count? LOL

6) something yummy i made this month: homemade meatballs from an old Cuisine at Home magazine.

7) the last place i ate out: McDonalds...or as the kids call it Old MacDonald. Kids' choice since Husband is still TDY.

8.) something that made me cry: recently. I am sure just about anything about a week ago. I do recall someone laughing at me because I said I cried at a Kendra episode! LOL

9) something that made me laugh: Livi....after she piped up about 'scaring the craps' out of me

10) something i looked forward to this month: exploring part of Kentucky. We are going to Mammoth Cave soon.

11) something i am thankful for: Husband

12) something i want to remember about this month: My baby boy tested for his next tae kwon do belt. He is now a 9th degree white belt: a goo gup.

Snapshot of Thirteen Things during the month of July

1) photo of me: taken with my Iphone: just after I got a cut and color. (Yes, I need some lip color. No, I am not driving, just buckled up!)

2) current candle scents: some Partylite candle, kind of spicy flavored

3) what i am currently reading: I did get the new Real Simple in the mail today.

4) newest music i added to my playlist: does a podcast count? I listen to my old radio station from Texas.

5) movies i saw: We took the kids to see G-Force last weekend. Kind of cute, Livi danced most of the way through it!

6) something yummy i made this month: Cilantro lime shrimp with a corn and black bean salsa.

7) the last place i ate out: Chick-fil-A

8.) something that made me cry: recently...when I was late to pick Will up from his first day of kindergarten ....dang early release! (okay this happened in Aug, but I am totally counting it!

9) something that made me laugh: Livi and her 'princess muscles' . (See post below this one)

10) something i looked forward to this month: hanging with the cousins in OH for the fourth of July. In case you have wondered, this is what a sugar high looks like!

11) something i am thankful for: living close enough to drive up to OH for the long weekend.

12) something i want to remember about this month: These gorgeous pink flowers: the first time I saw them, I thought they were fake flowers. They grow on top of these very straight thick green stalks about two feet tall. A lady had some in her yard in a circle around a lamp post. I wondered why on Earth she would put such fake looking flowers in her yard! Then I saw them in my neighbor's yard! They look so fake, but are so gorgeous!

13) a photo i took this month: My baby girl, lips stained red from eating a "rocket pop", and always with a flower in hand.
