More fall in the air

black patent in the fall, originally uploaded by tommiea1.

I often arrive a bit early to pick the kids up from preschool. So I have started throwing my unread magazines on the front seat just as they come. I get some uninterrupted quiet time to peruse my favorite magazines. Unlike now where more than once I have received the next month's issue and still haven't read the previous one. Today I happened to grab Southern Living.

So this month I was a little surprised to see my little black patent "Saba" MeToo ballet flats in their issue. Like they said, "Busy days call for shoes that slip right on and keep up with fast-moving feet. Look for an ultra-soft footbed, extra padding in the ball of the foot, and a flexible rubber sole."

These shoes are all that! They are so comfortable. I wore them today with just a pair of clean cut trouser pants with a simple shirt. It was barely 60 degrees here all day. I was so loving it......

especially since I was wearing my cute comfy scoots!

Happy Wednesday, y'all!

I do the same thing with my magazines. I read them in my truck whenever I get a chance.

I took the newly arrived Eddie Bauer catalog to look at while waiting for the kids to finish practice yesterday. Cute shoes.

Of course. You're ahead of the curve! Who would be surprised by that?!?

Good idea to read magazines while you wait. Steven King brings books with him every where to read a little bit at a time. Amazes me but that's what he does.

Those are so cute too!

We had that kind of weather today- Mackie and I had a blast doing errands and taking a quick pit stop at the park.

I am seriously a fashion don't ... I still don't have ballet flats and I need some oh-so-badly. I haven't gone shoe shopping in years. Yes, I said years. Sad.

Oh and Southern Living ROCKS!

I found a pair of black patent loafers at TJMaxx today .... cute and comfy.

I like to keep mags in the car for when E. falls asleep and I know that transferring her into the house will be a surefire way to wake her.

crackerjacks-
I really only have less than 20 pairs of shoes.....a basic black, brown and foofoo dress up....a black boot, a brown boot. a pointy black witch boot....and five pair of every day shoes: as I buy a new pair, I get rid of the old ones. I had these great black patent Mary Janes last year, but the button broke on them. I only keep what I wear and wear what I have.

But yes, I do love those!
