Your turn: Looking beyond the immediate, what do you see?

From a blog that I read : http://writteninc.blogspot.com/

He asked this simple question.....Looking beyond the immediate, what do you see?

So I started searching through some old pics I had already hosted on yahoo.....and came across this one Mike sent me earlier this year. Just glancing at it, it looks like a tank over there where he is...but do you see the little gnome? I didn't at first...I guess that is what makes it so funny.
I am trying to find funny here because in a few short days he will be going back until OCT07. I know this is a necessary thing for him to do, but it still hurts.
hope you found a little funny is this pic...
happy sunday.

I saw it right away! That's funny. I'm sorry, though, that you're hubs will be leaving again soon. I don't know how you do it.

I've been catching up on the last month of your life. Enjoy every moment with your husband. You are both so brave.

What a great sense of humor to have the gnome on there. I can't help but wonder if he was stolen from someone's yard to be taken on an adventure.

I'm so sorry your dh is leaving again. I remember how hard it was when my dad would leave on yet another Westpak (not quite the same thing though) and we would be bereft without him. I can't imagine how my mom did it.

Sorry---the "rest" is on my regular blog. You just have to click the request access link and let me know who you are to get access. ;-)

h&b-I have enjoyed reading his blog...unique perspective on things!

nel-It is hard, I am trying not to be a big cryababy...especially in front of the kids.

jenn-I just have to tell myself that I knew he was a soldier when I married him!

Gina- do you take pics of wierd things now too? I do!

Carrieb- I have enjoyed having him home. He had to run to the store, so I took a minute to blog!

Corey- It does ache...

Susan- I'll have to ask Husband if he knows the story of the gnome!
