Just like a picture with a broken frame

Alone and helpless, like you've lost your fight

But you'll be alright, you'll be alright

Chorus:'Cause when push comes to shove

You taste what you're made of

You might bend 'til you break'

Cause it's all you can take

On your knees you look up

Decide you've had enough

You get mad, you get strong

Wipe you hands, shake it off

Then you stand, then you stand

Great song choice. And, YOU HAVE A DOG? How did I not know that? I know you mentioned him in the T13, but I thought in past tense. Hmmph. :)

Though I think many people might respond with "family time" when asked what they want more of in 2008, it means something slightly different when you say it, you know? I hope 2008 brings you a lot of family time- ooh, and a lot of good wine, too. :)

(I have never heard of Pandora.com but I have a feeling it's a site on which I could log a lot of hours...)

Congratulations on making through a LOOOONG deployment. People are always praying for the troops, sending things to the troops etc., and yes they need it and they need the moral support...but so do those left at home to take care of everything. That is a really hard job.

It's okay if you are redundant and keep mentioning husband coming home, it was by far your biggest event for 2007! I'm so happy he made it home safe. Praise be.

I read your blog often and am so happy that your husband is home...I saw a Citadel sticker in one of the pics. I live in Charleston and my dad is a grad!

Isn't Pandora cool? I love it and I've found some new artists that way.

Less obsessing about cleaning? Do you think it's possible? ;)

My favorite song by Raskel Flats is
God Blessed the Broken Road.
It's actually one of my favorite all time songs.
