Kind of brain dead, so I decided to go to the 17th page of my Flickr, find the 17th picture, and blog about it.....today is April 17th isn't it???
Ironically, it is a see saw of the kids that their grandparents got them. But it personifies my day to a T......
UP: Yesterday we received an offer on the house!
DOWN: It was for much less than we have it priced.
UP: Got the counter offer back to the Shine Team by 9AM....thinking we would hear from the potential buyers soon.
DOWN: this afternoon, received a verbal counter-offer, (still not even close to what we want!
UP: They wanted my pot rack, maybe I'll get to keep it!
DOWN: 9 PM, still no hard copy of their counter offer.
UP: It has only been listed since late March.
DOWN: Maybe someone else will want my pot rack, my cool fridge that we just got when we moved here, and the play structure.
UP: I know someone will love my home as much as we do, I just need to be patient.
DOWN: Patience is not my strong suit!
UP: I think that is enough up and down for one day!
Happy Thursday, y'all!

You know, with a see saw, there is always an up when there is a down. Oh, and I guess that works the opposite way as well. We just won't think about that. Good luck with the house!!! Finger crossed!
Ugh...it's never easy, is it? Fingers still crossed!
what a creative post. I like your method. :)
great photo as well. way to go Will!
These things are sent to try us. But I have no doubt that your ride will end on an up swing, Tommie. :)
That picture sure illustrates what you're goping through eh? Hope someone else swoops in with the BIG offer soon...
That was a good post, Tommie - sorry about the offer not being what you want - I hope it works out and SOON!
Take care and have a good day - Kellan
Cool shot and that stinks about the offer - but promising that you at least got one already, right!
Have a great weekend T.
perfect picture to illustrate your mood!
Oooohhh shoot. I do hate selling a house. And people are so bargain hunting. You aren't desperate. And it's just the beginning of the selling season. So....
My fingers and toes are crossed!
Yes a see-saw fits you perfectly today - to a "T" if you'll allow the pun tommie *grin*
isn't it always about ups and downs.....:) love that colorful see-saw .........
Good luck. Selling houses gives me ulcers. I'm not even Catholic but I buried a St Joseph in our yard - it sold. Praise Jesus - for real.
