manic monday

answers to Lisa's Manic Monday. Here's what she has this week:

What was the last thing you regret buying? I am sure it is some kid toy with ten thousand little bitty teeny tiny pieces....that inevitably you will find when you are walking across a dark room barefooted!

If you had a crystal ball that could tell you the truth about any one thing you wished to know about yourself, life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know? I would like to know where we will be moving next....!! We should be moving this summer. I am a planner! Not knowing is driving me crazy. Kind of like hurry up and wait.

How do you know when you’re in love? this quote sums it up for me: "Love is more than three words mumbled before bedtime. Love is sustained by action, a pattern of devotion in the things we do for each other every day." - Nicholas Sparks

happy Monday

Had to comment on your blog because I loved your profile pic AND, I'm a Conservative, Obsessive-compulsive, diaper changer myself!

So, you'll be moving this summer - I remember those days as a kid (my dad was in the Army). It's kind of exciting, but I'd be anxious too. Can't wait to find out where you will move. Take care. Kellan

I'm starting to regret all those zillion piece toys that will soon be choking hazards.

(chanting "Carlisle! Carlisle! Carlisle!" .....)

Ooh wouldn't that crystal ball be kind of wicked? Moving all the time would undo me. Seriously.

I am so used to moving if I am in a house more than 2 years I start looking around thinking "its time to get out of here" - I am at that stage now in MN. BUT I know that I am here until Teenage Daughter graduates (a deal I made with myself) so now I am looking around thinking - I need to redecorage and knock down walls and rip up carpeting LOL

I like the quote. I regret buying a bottle of fig and myer lemon balsalmic vinger at Williams Sonoma. I could have made something like it at a fraction of the cost...

I actually have gotten used to it. Growing up, I lived in the same house all my life. I went K-12 in the same school (24 of the 56 I graduated with went K-12 together). But since I have been married, we have moved every 2-3 years. I can honestly say at EVERY single duty station I have made a lifelong friend!

Hopefully you'll move somewhere nice and warm, tropical, lovely year round. Where is that place?

The quote on love is great.

Oooo, I love that quote too! I mean I never heard it before, but I love it now.

You are moving? That should make for some interesting posts. It's amazing to me, the concept of going where you have to, not picking where you live. I have always wanted to move, but never really known where I would want to move. the older I get and the more kids I have , warmer regions are sounding better and better. I hate the bundling up and messiness that comes with winter.

And let's see, the last thing I regret buying is...nothing I can even remeber. I'm an impulse buyer- I snatch up what I love, but I have to really love it.

I do not miss the toys with a million zillion pieces. They end up everywhere and that makes me crazy.

I LOVE that quote. It is fantastic and so very true.

Thanks for playing, Tommie.
