I can only hope that these cookies taste good. My mother-in-law was so excited to make these with the kids. They are really a four part cookie....the base, a top with the circle cut out, a jelly filling, and the powdered sugar. The kids loved sprinking the sugar on them. I can only hope they tasted good. Since I have a nut allergy, I couldn't even taste them....apparently the cookies are made of almond paste. ooops!

Wow ,they look really tasty, but that is really a lot of work for a cookie. LOL!
oh! We used to make these at a bakery I worked at...what are they called? Linder cookies? Linbergh cookies? Lin...something.
(at any rate, they are quite beautiful. Did the kids like them?)
Happy New Year! Hope you had fun with your family.
I've passed on an award to you. Check it out when you have a moment.
Those look perfect to me! You and all your talent T!
Wishing you a very happy and healthy new year!
They look good..sorry you couldn't eat them!
I LOL at your rug comment. I almost want to buy another one...the colors are so cheery. :)
They look yummy but way-y-y-y too much work for me?
Did I tell you the fudge worked out okay for me but I screwed up the butterscotch chip version royally? LOL
Hmmm...interesting! I'm thinking that if I had an allergy to something that would be the thing I'd make, since I couldn't eat it and would have to give it all away!
I'm crying inside that you couldn't taste them :(
