Weekly winners, March 9-15, 2008

This week the kids had early release on Friday since next week is Spring Break. We took lunch to a park and had a picnic. A classmate had Easter bags that were in the kids' boxes. A perfect finale for the great day!

Hang on, baby girl!

Wheeee!

Love the little chocolate lips

First of many chocolate eggs this week

The bird's nest cookie

Livi had a turn with the little camera this week. There are the best six (of about 7o) that she took. These are straight out of the camera! They both continue to surprise me with the things that they take pics of....seeing the world through their eyes has been interesting! Since Will had a turn the other day, she asked if she could have one as well.

Thanks to Lotus at sarcastic mom for hosting this fun way to see all those extra pics that I didn't blog about this week.

Gosh, the look on W's face in the third picture - what a little man! I can really see the man inside the little boy there. I bet he looks just like that when he's 18 years old. Great photos, of course.

Livi's are wonderful too. We watched Martian child last night. The little boy takes photos of everything normal because he says he's from Mars and is documenting. Livi's photos remind me of that - kind of documenting the present.

Very very cool! Welcome home hubby too!

I LOVE that you let the kids use the camera. You are cultivating their creativity. I've always given my son a camera too, since he was small and he has a great eye now. Probably better than mine.
