In keeping with my ABC theme for Thursday 13 in 2008....the letter K
- Kansas: I lived in Kansas for 51 weeks.
- Keep: I keep a $20 in my wallet at all times.....never know when you need to make an emergency run thru Starbucks!
- Ketchup: I mix black pepper with my ketchup when I eat fries.
- Khaki: I have a staple of khaki pants, capris, and shorts in my closet (in various shades of course.)
- Kind: I think I am a kind-hearted soul.
- Kindergarten: My kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Murrey, was my favorite teacher ever!
- Killian's Irish red is one of the two beers I like.
- Kiss: Will tells me he is too old for kisses, so I have to sneak them. He's only four!
- Kitchen: My favorite room of a home.
- Knack: I have a knack for organization and neatness.
- Knife: I have a Spyderco penknife on my keyring.
- Keen: I have been wanting some Keen sandals, are they too 'granola'?
and the biggest K of all:
13. We are 95% sure we are moving to Fort Knox , Kentucky!
a few of my favorite K things: keys, kind, Killian's, kids

Lost Hemisphere's TT #5
I drove through Kansas once...seemed like it took 51 weeks!!!
I like to mix hot sauce with ketchup, when I can get it.
I think you're a kind-hearted soul, too :-)
What's the other beer?
I'll say you have a knack for that!
What size do you wear? I have a pair of Keens that I can't wear...
Oooh, Kentucky! Great news!
Janet- never tried it with hot sauce, but I bet it is the same mixture....ketchup with a kick.
Corona with a twist of lime.

Wow. Kentucky. When is that going to happen? You are really getting a fine tour of America, eh?
As always, these are wonderful!
Happy TT!
My TT is about Art Candy.
Pepper and ketchup? Hmmmph, I'm going to try that. Congrats on Knox!
What a fun list, not sure about the pepper and ketchup though...
Happy TT~
Dear D. has a pair of keens, he swears they're "the best shoes" that he's ever owned.
Kentucky!! The derby!! Whoo-hoo!
Kentucky is good - it's not Texas, but it's good!
Thanks so much for the prayers for the baby - see you soon. Kellan
Fort Knox, huh? Neat.
I've never tried the pepper with ketchup, but now I'm curious.
Of course we love the K post..from two K's to you (and from two Kentucky transplants as well!!)
blessings,
kari & kijsa
never heard of Keen sandals, but I nearly bought another pair of Burkie's recently. Can't get more granola than that!
I wish I had your knack for organization, it would save me a ton of headaches.
Yay! Kentucky!
That means he stays here right?!? That is so great!
Wow, Fort Knox! Here's to new adventures!! I love your list and photos at the end.
Fort Knox! You'll have to tell me what it's like!
I currently hate Fort Carson, and hopefully we head to Fort Sam Houston next! I told hubby anywhere but HOOD!
Gosh, I love these! You learn so much. Kentucky, eh? We'll be neighbors . . . sort of :)
I totally get the $20 for an emergency Starbucks run . . .
Kentucky! We will be close....
You will love this part of the country..Kentucky and Tennessee is wonderful! K
Hm, my husband keeps a fifty tucked in his wallet. He must drink more Starbucks than you ;-)
Kentucky, huh? I think that is such a pretty state. Much prettier than Kansas that bores me to tears driving across highway 70!
I'm so glad to hear it looks like you'll be moving to your first choice!
As for the Keens, I hate the granola look of Birks but there's no denying their comfort. And Keens are MUCH better-looking.
excellent list! i'm on D
